The model

The model in three lines.

  1. 1

Liquor brands pay for the event — never you.

  2. 2

Runs under your licence, with your approval, on your schedule.

  3. 3

Zero cost, zero staff time — tasting stock is purchased off your shelf, through your till.

What you get

Every event includes.

  • Certification-verified ambassador — ProServe in Alberta, your province’s equivalent elsewhere; enforced by software, not spreadsheets

  • GPS check-in and check-out on every shift

  • Ambassador checks in with your manager on arrival — a required, recorded step

  • ID check on every pour — no exceptions

  • Setup and teardown handled end to end

  • Featured product bought at your till, in your store — we never bring product in

  • Responsive campaign support during every event — issues addressed while the event is running

Data integration + business intelligence

From event activity to retail performance.

Prime can design and deliver the full data and reporting layer around your tasting program — integrating authorized POS and sales data with event execution, then turning it into Power BI reporting your teams can actually use.

Tasting operations and enterprise-grade data expertise rarely live under one roof. At Prime, they do.

Built around your systems

Prime can work with your existing data environment, connect approved sources, standardize product and store data, and remove manual reporting handoffs.

One commercial view

Bring event timing, store activity, product movement, and campaign results together to see what happened by location, banner, product, and period.

Decision-ready dashboards

Reporting delivered in Power BI, designed for operators and commercial teams — clear enough to act on, rigorous enough to guide future investment.

Your licence, protected

Compliance, engineered.

Every tasting runs inside your licence — so compliance isn't a policy document, it's a scheduling rule.

  • Certification is a hard gate — expired or unverified ambassadors cannot be scheduled

  • The under-your-licence operating model is written down and audit-ready

  • Responsible-tasting protocol: legal-age ID check on every pour, no over-pour, no service to intoxicated patrons, no pressure-selling

  • Pour volumes pre-defined per province

  • General and product liability insurance, with Certificates of Insurance issued before any event

Common questions

What store managers ask us.

What does this cost my store?

Nothing. Brands fund the event — never you. Tasting stock is bought through your till, so the event is revenue for your store, not an expense.

How much staff time do we need to give?

None. Prime brings the ambassador, the kit, and the setup. Your store provides floor space.

Who do I call if something's off?

Contact your Prime campaign lead. They know the event and can bring in the right operations support without sending you through a switchboard.

What about our licence?

Certified ambassadors only, an ID check on every pour, a documented responsible-tasting protocol, and insurance certificates issued before any event.

What if the ambassador cancels?

Every event is confirmed the day before. Prime's enforced target is under 5% day-of cancellations, against a ~27% industry baseline (US industry data).

Do we get anything after the event?

Every event closes with an operational report within the hour. For retail partners, Prime can also integrate authorized sales and POS data into tailored Power BI reporting, connecting event activity to store and product performance.
